Our next livestreamed event will be from the wonderful Wesley Centre in Malton. Stay tuned for the date-release. We’re delighted to return to one of our favourite venues, for an afternoon tea-time concert. We can’t wait to see how the renovation work has been progressing - including the new amazing cameras! You’re in for a treat of a selection of our favourite works for flute, harp and viola, including the pioneer of the instrumentation - Claude Debussy!
Helmsley Arts Centre
We were delighted to team up with Helmsley Arts Centre for their Creative, and Connected Community series in March 2021. We got to know you through your wonderful visual artwork submissions, inspired by the surrounding area, art and life! This artwork in turn directly inspired our music choices, including some new arrangements of well-loved Yorkshire Folksongs ‘Holmfirth Anthem’ and ‘Scarborough Fair’. Local York-based composer David Lancaster’s World Premiere performance of his new 2020 trio. Written during the first lockdown, inspired by walks through the city at night. ‘Before I Fall Asleep, the City again.
Online Festive Concert 2020
We were delighted to return to our very first concert venue - St Andrew’s Church, Kirby Grindalythe, for our 2020 Festive Concert. This year, online! Being online, we were able to film with the stunning mosaic behind us. - A different angle for you to enjoy from the warmth at home!
